Buck Jones, of Rockford, Michigan, owns this correct version of a '62 Starfire convertible in Garnet Mist, showing 43,000 miles. The car is currently nearly finished going though a "cosmetic restoration", to factory original specs, which will bring it from a high #3 to a solid #2+. This car is fully equipped, including air conditioning, lacking only power vent windows and Guide-Matic automatic headlamp dimmer. Buck and his wife will use this Olds as their "cruiser", when restoration in completed in the spring of 2001.
