Paul Hartlieb, site host, of Myerstown, Pennsylvania currently owns this Cirrus Blue '62 Starfire Coupe. It was purchased in Mattawan, Michigan (via eBay) in July of 2002, and picked up while attending the 105th Oldsmobile Anniversary in Lansing. It is believed to have been originally sold in California and spent some time in the Reseda/Chatsworth area according to an old radiator tag and a lube sticker. It is equipped with the optional Positive Crankcase Ventilation system normally seen on California cars. The PCV system and the fact that there was an assembly plant in Southgate, California make us wonder why it was built in Lansing - maybe a factory delivery? It is also equipped with air conditioning, power windows, power vent windows, power seat, power trunk release, power antenna, Wonderbar radio with Bi-Phonic rear speaker, Safety Sentinel, rear window defogger, Guide-Matic power headlamp control, Anti-Spin differential (with more highway-friendly 2.69 gears instead of the standard 3.42s) and the dealer-installed accessory Cruise Control package.
